How it started
We’re Ali Montoya & Olivia Austin, seasoned brand strategists, entrepreneurs, and mentors dedicated to helping ambitious designers and small business owners build thriving, intentional businesses. Our approach is grounded in experience. Ali founded Amari Creative in 2016, and Olivia launched Current Design Studio in 2017. Before stepping into mentorship, we each scaled our studios to multiple six figures, refined our offers, built teams and systems, and served hundreds of clients.
After years of parallel expansion and supporting each other’s success, we joined forces to create The Studio Co., a space designed for designers who have built momentum and are ready to grow, refine, and scale with intention. Together, we bring hands-on experience building and scaling creative businesses, combining two distinct models, proven results, and frameworks shaped by real execution, not theory.
